Owner of the highly respected Louise Bianco Salon in Los Angeles for over 25 years, Ms. Bianco's advances in skin care have played a major role in the treatment of many famous faces. Yet even though some of her loyal clients are celebrities, the salon maintains a low key, comfortable and harmonious environment encouraging self awareness and a simplicity of spirit. Ms. Bianco's holistic approach to beauty embraces a healthy mind and body connection as exemplified by her own smooth complexion (can you believe that this unretouched photo is of someone over 65?).

Her commitment to skin care began as a curious teenager when she used to "whip things up in the kitchen." She went on to work as a weight control counselor, then as a plastic surgeon's assistant. However, it was her work in weight control that enabled her to detect skin problems from a nutritional standpoint. "A person's dietary habits, good or bad, usually are immediately apparent in his or her skin.," Ms. Bianco says. "If you're not in tune with your body, it shows."

Although Ms. Bianco's experimental nature kept her involved in skin care throughout the years of raising her family, the real catalyst of her current success and career was motivated not only from her curiosity, but from an experience that she had over thirty years ago. "A friend gave me a gift certificate for a face contouring treatment," she remembers. "It changed my life. I felt invigorated and inspired to learn the technique."

Ms. Bianco took instruction in the art of face contouring, a technique based on the theory that because some facial muscles fail to receive exercise as a person ages, these muscles subsequently begin to sag. The gentle but firm lifting massage helps to maintain or restore the sharp youthful contours of the face and neck. The treatment of the face has the same effect that exercise has on the whole body. Ms. Bianco. incorporates acupressure techniques into her own personal method, giving 100% of her energy to her clients and promoting a sense of well-being and inner peace. Her dedication to this method and the benefits of creating firm and healthy skin has allowed some of her clients to actually delay plastic surgery. "The deep massage works on the muscles of the face keeping the cheeks round and the jaw line firm," Ms. Bianco says.

As a skin care expert, Ms. Bianco has always used the highest quality products in her salon.
