Combination Skin

DEFINITION: Combination skin is characterized by marked differences in oil levels in different areas of the face - the most common is oiliness on the forehead and nose (t-zone), with drier skin on the cheeks (the chin area is another common "oily" area) and accompanying breakouts in the oilier areas. Another type of combination skin is skin that is dry and taut after cleansing, but oily an hour or two later, meaning skin is out of balance.

PRODUCTS TO CHOOSE: The best way to even skin's oil/dry areas is by the use of Green Papaya Enzymes (Clean Zyme, Skin Zyme). They aren't over drying or too moisturizing, and using these products for exfoliation stimulates production of new, more nourished skin cells. Depending on how dry your "dry" areas are, you may want to add Microsomes or Day Hydrating Crème.
